Looking for a unique and exhilarating experience during your winter ski trip?  Monarch Dog Sled Rides provides exciting dog sled tours through the beautiful San Isabel National Forest located one mile south of the Monarch Mountain ski area!  Come and learn about this northern sport while we take you on a 3-5 mile tour through our breathtaking terrain.  Our experienced guides will teach you all about the love and care for these dogs, the sport, and the races in Canada and Alaska (such as the Iditarod), in which some of our dogs and guides have participated!  If you are feeling brave, we will teach you how to drive your own team.  Each tour lasts 1.5 hrs and will be personalized according to your group.  There will be plenty of opportunities to snap great photos during your trip!  We can accommodate all ages and those with handicaps.
